Our mission
Ablaze exists because most people meet insurance at the worst possible moment — under time pressure, from whoever contacted them first, with no one willing to spend an hour explaining what the thing actually does. The result is households paying for cover that no longer matches their lives, and others discovering a gap at the point they needed it closed.
The work is unglamorous and mostly consists of asking questions: what do you already have, what would still need paying if your income stopped, who depends on you, and when. Margaret Yiadom works with clients in Dumfries and across Northern Virginia, and remotely where licensing allows. Sometimes the honest answer is that you are already adequately covered.
